I had an online interview with the hiring manager. It was technical mostly discussing my research and work in my PhD. The manager was very involved and was polite. He was able to gauge my answers and promoting me to think . He asked 2 questions that he had prepared. Most of the questions were follow up from my work and answers that I gave during the interview process.

y = f(x), you have noisy measurements of y, f is physics based model, x are sample/labels that you are supposed to find. How would you approach this problem.

Entretien
The recruiter was non-responsive after reaching out to me first. I always had to ask for couple of times before she would give me a finalized interview time. My first interview went well. The second interviewer didn't show up on the assigned date, and there was no apology or explanation. But after a few days, they rescheduled the interview. The second interview was horrible where the interviewer told me that I should not be talking (describing my thought process) while solving a question, I should just give him the answer, otherwise they would disqualify me.

Some questions about how one should design an image generation model which has to be specific about texture.
The worst interview of my life. First of all, the interviewer did not attend the interview at all on first round. I waited for one long hour, emailed them and they rescheduled after a week. Next week was even horrible. The interviewer was too much into himself. The very toxic environment which can be seen from the way he speaks about stuff there. I almost left the interview in the middle.
