Entretien
I was contacted by a recruiter to see if I was interested in this firm. I was, and shortly thereafter had an initial video interview with HR. It went well, and that same day I received an email asking to schedule a follow-up with their head of litigation, as well as for references.
After I responded, I received a recall notice for the email from HR, with no further contact from the firm. The recruiter contacted me a few days later, telling me the firm first said they were going with another candidate, but then said they did not have a pressing need in my area.
Fair enough, I guess. Not the first rejection I've received, but the quick reversal from enthusiasm to ghosting was odd.
First interview with recruiter. Second interview with Partner you would be working under. Very communicative throughout the process. They seemed focused on ability to bill, and prior litigation experience. Overall, good interviewing experience.

Very informative! Learned about both firm and the leadership’s vision. Refreshing to see a firm focused on growth AND success of employees! The COO is CLEARLY a great leader with an eye for firms success by giving attorneys/teams resources necessary to execute upon firms vision.

Reall just open conversation in light of, likely, my experience as an attorney. I was asked WHAT I WANTED to do in terms of work. Very open discussion, relaxed but professional and business focused.
