I was interviewed for an internship role and it was a one step interview, where you were asked to give an introduction of yourself followed by some competency questions for you to respond.

Initial call with Internal Recruiter, then a follow up call with a manager running through your experience and question around a difficult problem that you solved. The following stages would have been a tech test and a system design interview. I was not progressed past the 1st technical stage because I did not make the shortlist of those who met the criteria for the role. Presumably because of experience around their tech stack.
