I really liked the interview process. The turnaround time was fast - I received my decision the day after the onsite. I thought that most of the engineering questions asked were pertinent to their product - how do you quickly recommend/suggest what code to write, without significantly slowing down a user's workflow? These questions tested for the fundamentals of speed and efficiency, which I thought was a good signal for what their engineers had to think about daily. I had a really good time meeting all of the different people in the office. One of my favorite moments was talking to Jonathan, the eng manager, about his vision for the product. Overall I think that the product is early in its development phase, but I heard several good ideas for how to transform it into a product.

Someone from Kite reached out to me via email, where we set up an intro phone call. From there, I did a phone screen, went onsite, and concluded by meeting with my hiring manager. All the individuals I interviewed with were incredibly bright, yet thoughtful and courteous. Furthermore, I really appreciated how organized they were throughout the process, even though I interviewed over the holidays and required some flexibility with timelines. Because of my experience during the process, I felt confident that I'd be joining a strong team where the employee experience was valued.
