J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Kodak Canada (Burnaby, BC) en août 2021
Entretien
I was seated at the head of a conference table with 4 other people who lead various departments, all listening and asking questions. Most of the questions came from one person. I was told to use my own words and experiences and not try to make up answers that fit their expectations. There are "no right or wrong answers" and they are not trying to trick me with their questions. The purpose was to assess how I would handle the job and fit in with the team.
I was also shown a series of parts used in the products that are manufactured there. I was asked to identify them and what I thought their purpose was. I was given a screwdriver and had to demonstrate the assembly and disassembly of a part. I was reminded of the process of choosing the next Dalai Lama where the candidate is shown objects from the previous Lama's life and and must recall any memories that would presumably be present in the re-incarnated soul.
Finally there was a tour of the production area where your interest and enthusiasm are being assessed as well.
Make sure you have your phone handy as the receptionist may not be present. The time I spent looking for the room made me a bit late which probably didn't help with my chances.
The whole process took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
If you noticed a co-worker was consistently making the same mistake, which prevents you from completing your own task properly, how would you deal with the situation?
