I am HIGHLY upset with Kohl's. I put in an application and got a call back within a week and set up a time for my interview. I was very professional by making sure I have a resume and did background history on Kohl's (VERY PREPARED). I filled out another application when I got to the interview and then the store manager and assistant came in and explained the process. The manager came by to check everyone’s paper work to make sure everything was filled out correctly.
When he came to my paper work, I showed him my resume (which I was the only one with one out of 16 people), and then I reminded him that I have school during the day and will work after school. He then asked how old I was. I told him and STATED ON MY APPLICATION that I was 16. He told me that that would be a problem since they needed to be a minimum age of 17.
I drove through a terrible storm just to make sure that I was 30 minutes early to the interview, WHY DID IT TAKE TILL I GOT AN INTERVIEW TO TELL ME THAT I WAS TOO YOUNG.
Although, everything else was much professional. This is VERRY upsetting and has put a negative impact on the Kohl's corporation to me.
