I arrived and was politely greeted and instructed by the employees to wait for the manager to arrive and begin our interview. The manager was very nice and made me feel very relaxed, but immediately told me that the position I was applying for was already filled. They informed me that maybe something would open up soon and they'd consider me and also encouraged me to reapply during the holiday season.

Name one time when you were awarded for an accomplishment.
Short but still good experience to have for a beginner in interviewing. There are a lot of people to meet so that you can make your skills of speaking up to par.
Easy, over the phone and about 30 minutes long. The store manager asked questions about my background, what would I do if xyz happened, what I would do if a end cap was messy, how would I contribute to making the store look good.

A round table style, group interview process with the manager and other candidates. Afterwards, on the same day, they did the one on one interviews. After about a week later I received an offer, which I accepted.
