I was contacted by HR to schedule a video interview with the hiring manager, an engineer. The interview went fine, but towards the end the hiring manager claimed that the job started during spring 2022, even though both the official job description and the HR employee said it began in summer 2021. I haven't heard anything since, but I assume I didn't get the job. Better communication would have been nice, but frankly I don't care since I found a way better opportunity elsewhere.
