The interview is a two on one with the district coordinator and the store manager. It is part of your required qualification process. It can take up to 12 months to schedule if your district coordinator is busy, so you may need to insist in order to schedule the interview. You are given a list of things to study, all related to department processes knowledge, and they more or less quiz you. This is not always the case. Some coordinators may ask situational questions as well, but that was not my experience.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
I cannot remember specifics, but they are directly relevant to department.
For example: How do you properly use three compartment sink? (This is the easiest)

I found the job posting at the Kroger store for walk-ins on a specific day of the week. I cannot remember what day of the week that was but I'm pretty sure all Krogers do this. Go to your local Kroger store and look for the blue posting and it'll tell you when the walking days are. I just walked in and did an interview and it was pretty easy. They pretty much hired me on the spot. I don't know what else to say about it but it was pretty good.

Standard phone call after submitting application, then an in person interview. It really is geared towards those who are looking for their first job or who haven't worked in awhile and just need a little extra money around the holidays.

Asked me questions concerning my knowledge of the deli and my workmanship. Informed that I wasn't the only person applying for the position. It was a one on one interview. She explained to me the situation that the deli was experiencing and what the needed from the person they were looking to hire.
