Worst company to go for an interview. Event went well during the interview apart from last round with their CTO. Very unprofessional behavior by CTO. Rest of the people were nice.
Interview questions were easy and mostly on basics of javascript.
I am very sorry to hear this, and I do apologize. Our goal is to engage all candidates for all open positions with professionalism and candor. As someone who has been involved with Lacework for over three years, I'm surprised to hear this commentary regarding our CTO. Having said that, there's always room for improvement, and we do seriously consider all candidate feedback towards that end.

I applied directly on their site. Received an and then a call after few days. Well received. They said they can’t go to next step as I didn’t pass the coding test.

Highly unprofessional and poorly conducted. One of those typical Indian companies, atleast felt like it. Didn't even have the courtesy to get back to me. Just stay away from such start-ups.
I'm very sorry that you experienced an unprofessional interview. I'm sure that we can improve our interview experience with candidates, and we will strive to do so. And I do apologize that we failed to get back to you. That certainly is a regrettable oversight on our part. With respect to it being a "typical Indian" company, my experience over nearly three decades is that folks from every race, ethnicity and nationality have the ability to be professional or unprofessional. To the extent that we fell short in our interview process with you, I don't believe it is because we have numerous Indian engineers at Lacework.
