The process starts off with a Hirevue "interview". Then weeks later I emailed the recruiter for an update and was then selected to move on to next round. Had a interview (via Hirevue) with what seemed like a only mildly prepared manager. He ran out of questions after a few minutes. Was not asked any technical questions.
About a week later was told that I made it to the next round where I would have another interview (via Hirevue) with three managers. On the day of the interview I got an email asking if it could be done on the phone instead. Fine I take the call and the other two managers where no shows. I answered all the questions but it seemed that the manager ran out of questions pretty fast. Again zero technical questions.
Weeks pass and I email the recruiter for an update. I was then told that the other managers wanted speak to me. This ends up being a video interview with a senior manager. The manager asks simple questions. No technical questions. Manager wears a t-shirt and I wear a suit.
The next interview is via phone with another manager. Simple questions. Interviewer asks when I can start.
Make it to the final round. This is a video interview with two unknown people. Two hours before the interview it is canceled because an implied third person could not make. It is rescheduled for a week later. The interview starts and only one person is on call. Amazingly enough this is the only person that dressed up for any of the interviews. But strangely does not introduce themselves or explain their role at the company, just launches into questions. At the end of the interview they say that they will be putting together a compensation package and sending it over. I am only allowed to ask one question.
A week later I email the recruiter for an update and get a form email the next day saying I didn't get the position. After I email back and fourth with the recruiter I am told that my answers were to long winded and that no one implied that I was going to be hired. All included this whole thing takes 101 days (14 weeks), five interviews with people (three video chats, two phone calls) and one Hirevue "interview".
