The application process through Compass Group was challenging and not user-friendly. Despite this, I successfully submitted my application and received a call for an interview within a few hours. The interview was scheduled for the same week. The interviewer did not seem open to recognizing transferable skills, however, I wasn't offered the position of Catering Bartender despite not having extensive experience in that specific role. The interview itself was mildly uncomfortable, but I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered for the position and ultimately secure the job.
