Extensive, more than what it needs to be for such little wage you interview as though this is for a high salary job. It was a full 2-3 day process I can't remember, but pretty ridiculous for such little pay.

I was asked the basic questions. However, my first and favorite question was what is your favorite book and I thought that was great. It relaxed me and I wasn't so nervous. By the way my answer was, "The Fred Factor". it happened to be the book I picked up and read that day and I genuinely enjoyed it.

HR phone call, 10 to 15 minute screen, followed by an area manager face to face interview usually about 10 minutes. Sometimes a second interview. Results will probably take a while.

I had been an associate manager for years prior to my interview for store manager. Area manager and I were already familiar and he was very warm, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process, even when asking me more serious questions.
