Phone screen followed by video interview. Phone screen was rescheduled several times by recruiter. The screening itself was standard. The video interview was standard with a lot of questions about what kind of projects I worked on in the past. The most unexpected one was "name a time you had to make a software architectural decision". I was told they don't have a controls engineer now and have never had one. I think they are looking for a "perfect" candidate because the job posting has been up for many months. A few days later I got a standard rejection letter with no exact reason given.
