A nice chat about my regulatory experience and how I would tackle certain issues confronting clients. The global regulatory partner was incredibly clued in and i felt he already had the answer but just wanted to see how I would manage if thrown in an actual meeting with clients. He also mentioned that there would be certain leadership transitions within the Asia pacific region and as a Senior Associate coming from private practice this transparency was very much appreciated. The two interviewees were very civil and warm during the interview but did ask very challenging questions, which I felt I didn't answer altogether well at the time.

Got transferred from an overseas office; worked with different partners; got an offer to move to London permanently
The "interview" process was essentially testing me on the job while on secondment; had to work long hours with different partners to ensure they all are able to provide feedback on me at the appraisal process; had to juggle priorities and build personal relationships; was a difficult 12 months
