Pretty standard 3-4 interviews, going up from personality fit to skill fit. Overall really put off by the interviewers lack of experience in determining skill, telling me that with 5 years experience in the role that's being hired for, im inexperienced but could not explain why that's so. Just stop interviewing earlier or let me know in an email if you don't like me, getting me to come to an hour interview, just to tell me I'm inexperienced when I have extensive experience in the exact subject you're hiring for is a huge slap in the face and not worth an hour of each attuning party's time when you've obviously already made a decision but are going through formal motions. Specifically this was over a side project I had just started days prior and was explaining to the interviewer, who misunderstood my approach and intent on one feature set, and would not let that go or back down that im bad at what I do, as I was cutting a corner to save time, on a feature that would be removed anyways when the project was complete. To me this shows LP technical leadership does not clearly understand tech debt, and willingly takes routes of work that cause vapor tasks that end up not being integrated or used by the overall business.
