Interview with initial talent team was brief but fine. However, interview with hiring manager and member of staff was quite poorly conducted as there wasn’t really any structure to it. They then surprised me with an excel test without prior warning at the end of the call and expected me to do it immediately after and send back within 15mins! At this point we’d already overrun by 10mins (despite not being given time to ask my own qs on the role and company!) so subsequently had to push back another meeting I was due to join. Then to top it all off, after sending the test back with follow up comments, I never received anything back - not even the classic ‘you were unsuccessful and unfortunately we’re not able to provide feedback to all candidates.’ It was almost like they picked the candidate they wanted and then didn’t bother telling the other applicants that they were unsuccessful (really hope that wasn’t the case!) All in all, a very poor experience but glad it happened as I definitely wouldn’t have coped working here if this was the attitude of the organisation!
