My interview process consisted of one quick phone call with a hiring manager, then I was invited for an onsite interview. I was traveling in for the interview, from over 2.5 hours away. At the interview I was told I would hear the outcome within 3 business days. This was fortunate as I was in town for another final-round interview and had hoped to hear back from both jobs in a timely manner so I could make an informed decision. However, LACN didn't get back to me for over a week, so I sent a follow up email, and then another a few days later, and then another a few days after that. After that third email I was informed "We actually put a hold on this position, for now. You were definitely a contender. The company has moved in a different direction for this position, at this time." I have no issue with not getting the position, totally fair, but being ghosted after traveling in for what I was told was a final round interview with an outcome within 3 business days was completely unprofessional and inconvenient. Good luck to whoever ends up interviewing here!
