I applied online after attending an info session, was reached out to via email with a data analysis assignment. I completed the assignment, then was asked for an on-site interview. The day of the interview, 20 minutes before I was supposed to leave to make it on time, I received a phone call from the recruiter informing me that they had filled one of two positions already, and that they decided they didn't have the resources to keep the second position. They invited me to still come and interview, but I felt that the timing and the lack of transparency was very unprofessional after already spending time preparing for an interview. I still opted to attend the interview, and the manager I interviewed with was very professional and kind about the situation, but I felt overall that they shouldn't have led me on, or at the very least, they should have planned their hiring better. I have interviewed with Lucid a total of three times and I have felt each time that something is just lacking in the recruiting department. Everyone else I have met who works there seems great which is why I continued to apply there, but I'm pretty frustrated and disillusioned with how the recruiting team has handled the situation each time.
