The first round was an online aptitude test conducted on the Hacker Earth Platform. Then we had a Hackathon where they split the participants into teams of ten members each and each team was assigned a technical mentor from the company. A problem statement was given to all the teams commonly, to develop a simple Event management web application consisting of CRUD operations. During the Hackathon we were encourage by the mentors to collaborate on conceiving the solution to the problem statement and they guided us throughout the process. Next day I received an email from the HR informing that I have been shortlisted for the interview. I attended the interview and it consisted mostly of fundamental technical questions and mostly regarding the projects that I have done and, the challenges that I encountered during the development. The results were announced swiftly after two days. Overall it was great experience to participate in the Hackathon where I got to collaborate immediately with strangers on a project and the mentor guided us with utmost patience.
