I was called for an interview nearly three years after I initially applied. The manager at that time was relatively knowledgeable regarding the position available. After a few short questions he offered me the job on the spot and wanted me to come into orientation/OTJ training the following monday. Come to find out later that he wasn't the most organized person and didnt really enjoy his job. I could tell that they desperately needed a person at that particular time due to a backlog of jobs, due to an employee quitting.
