I have participated in numerous interviews throughout my professional career, but I must say that the one I had here was highly unprofessional and regrettable. The CEO, who was also the interviewer, arrived 25 minutes later than scheduled and instead of discussing my experience, she focused solely on my expected compensation. She went on to inform me that the amount I requested was insufficient for someone with my experience and that they could hire a person with ten years of experience for the same salary (and let me tell you the amount I asked for was in 6 digits INR). This behavior is highly concerning and indicative of self-proclaimed CEOs and wanna be entrepreneurs who attempt to exploit Indian employees. It is worth noting that during a previous interview with the HR team, I clearly communicated my expectations. It is perplexing why I was invited to another interview round if they were not willing to meet my requirement.

I had three rounds of interviews with the VP, the Director, and other round with the director after that they ghosted me without saying their decision. The VP was nice he asked about previous roles and exeperiences.
