We had two positive follow up conversations and I agreed to write up a list of questions for the hiring manager, as means of efficiency. Questions were sent the next day. Have not heard back from the recruiter despite multiple attempts to contact them for status update.
Candidates realize not each opportunity will pan out - perhaps related to fit, or sometimes the organization decides to go in a different direction or the role is de-funded. Solid communication is the lifeblood of these interactions, otherwise potential candidates may develop a negative perception of the org/brand because of unnecessarily poor comms.
