I was approached through LinkedIn by a resource manager and shortly after had a phone interview. The following week I went in and had almost back to back interviews. They were very friendly, had a beautiful office space, and were clearly very talented. The interviews went well but I still have not heard anything about the final decision. Obviously they either went with another candidate or decided not to fill the position, which is fine but I was told about a month after my interview that there weren't any budget approvals for new positions. They said I would be updated about it in December but it's mid-February and I still don't know what happened. Interview processes are intimidating and stressful as it is and never hearing a response either way made me feel as though my candidacy wasn't valued.
