I was referred by an employee, the process was pretty informal. I had an initial interview with the person I was to be working with where we talked about my past, skills, what I would be doing, etc. Seemed to be looking for a personality match as well as a skill match. Seemed like a very cool guy. Then I had a second interview with the person who was to be my supervisor, less technical and more about my past and general skills.
