J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Meta (Londres, Angleterre) en févr. 2022
Entretien
I was reached out by a recruiter about the role. Even though I've chosen remote work, I've been told I need to relocate at the end of the interview. I'd prefer to be told that the relocation is necessary at the beginning.

I had a strange experience, might have been a one time thing because I think Facebook can do better than that.
I applied but did not receive an answer for 2 weeks. Suddenly, I received a follow up email to ask if I could confirm the interview? I was very confused and said that I was never invited to an interview. The recruiter then said that the email must have gone lost, but they were interested in talking with me (I checked spam folder and everything, but I am sure there was not anything). I was happy of course and agreed to have a phone call. In my reply, I also wrote that I had a new number. The recruiter confirmed to call me on the new number.
On that day I was waiting, but they did not call at the time. I received an email which said that they were running late, and that they would call 30 minutes later. Ok... I waited, but nothing. Suddenly my father called me (who had my old number) and told me someone called him and wanted to talk with me. Seems like she called my old number... After that whole chaos we finally talked about general things, experience etc. She apologised for a dog barking in the background, which I did not mind. After that, I got an automatic rejection the following week. I was not disappointed but thought the whole process was very weird for a big company.
