Entretien
I had an initial call with the recruiter where we discussed my experience and the next steps. A week later, I completed a phone screening that included two LeetCode problems. I solved both problems optimally and handled the follow-up questions well. After two days, I received positive feedback and we scheduled an onsite interview in three weeks to give me time to prepare.
During the onsite, I went through five rounds: three coding interviews, one system design interview, and one behavioral interview. I received positive feedback for all rounds and was qualified as an SWE IC4, which was my goal. The team matching process took a total of two months.
Recruiter call was pretty standard, first round was 2 Meta tagged LC mediums in 45 minutes. On-site was 2 coding sessions of 2 LC mediums, a system design interview and a behavioral interview with an engineering manager.

The entire process usually takes 3–8 weeks, depending on scheduling and the specific role. Coding interviews heavily emphasize common DSA topics such as arrays, strings, trees, graphs, BFS/DFS, heaps, hash maps, and dynamic programming. System design becomes increasingly important for E4+ positions.
