You take a written paramedic exam, cardiac exam, & have an oral scenario exam. Then you interview with the head of HR and the district manager of the dept you applied for. They typically ask you about yourself and then ask about scenarios you may face within the work place such as: not getting along with your partner, aggressive patients, unethical behavior. You will also take a urine test on site. I was hired on the spot and asked when I could start.

It was a typical interview. Easy to schedule, and uncomplicated. I applied online, they called me, we scheduled a time, I talked with the hiring manager, and received an offer the same day.
