I spent about half a day and interviewed with 10 or so people. Really good people and all seemed very smart. It took them a very long time to get back to me on a position that they wanted to fill quickly. They could use more of a strategic vision. They need to decide what is their reason for being - is it quantitative management, esg investing, is it retail, wholesale, UHNW, 401(k). CEO is a very bright and energetic guy but seems to be distracted and seems it weigh in on every decision. They were terrible about returning emails or phone calls. Caused me some concern about level of professionalism.
