I had a group interview in May.
There was close to 40 other people and there was about 10 people per table.
I found the entire process to be pointless, people were talking over each other in order to impress the observer which meant it was almost impossible to get a word in without shouting.
I have well over five years experience within retail and was more than qualified for this role but I assume since I wasn't able to get a word in during the discussions I was overlooked.
Group interviews with 40 people is a ridiculous way to recruit new team members.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Myer (Melbourne) en mai 2016
Entretien
I participated in a group interview. There were 4 tables of 6 people. We did 1 role play, briefly gave a history background of the company. Over all I was disappointed because they didn't give enough attention with each individual of what skills can they bring when working with the company and the qualities of what each person is capable of. Unorganized. Didn't get anything out of it. I was expecting more although it wasn't enough.
