Online application,heard back about a week after closing date for application. Followed by 30 minute competency based interview with ward manager and senior nurse. Was phoned later that afternoon and offered position.

Tell me about a time you provided excellent care....
Was fairly quick - had 3 stages (written test - group discussion - final panel interview), for me most tough was group discussion. Written test was based on the trust's values and I had to frame answer according to them.

They asked me how I would handle safeguarding issues or when a patient gets angry and unaccomodating.
All you need to describe about yourself, and did you worked before in health care or any hospital, and how you care and your respect and compassion towards people, how do you take care of patient health and also your health.

Okay it was not as hard as I expected . It was generally alright . No prior experience needed very calm interview the matron was lovely I enjoyed it I would recommend a London NHs trust
