Did not have any rounds but. I was marked not shortlisted in my first call it self because of my higher compensation expectations and I am totally ok with it. The recruiter was polite and we had a good and healthy discussion. It was totally professional.
But I got a call back once again after a week for the same position from a different recruiter this time. we again had a discussion about my comp expectations. I mean if it's not in your budget then why did u call me and don't you recruiters communicate internally if I am already rejected y would call me again. This recruiter was clearly boasting about how nagaro is a big company with 10000+ employees and not a small startup with 30 40 employees(clearly indicating to my current organization). And was telling me that my expectations are to high. I wanted to talk about why I deserve what I am expecting. But the 5 min discussion kindoff took an argumentative route. The recruiter hung up on me which was rude. I mean I felt that start ups have better interview cultures. Just because nagaro is a big company doesnt mean you can be rude to people.
To who ever is incharge of hiring in Nagarro please take a deep dive into how your recruitment is happening.
Because for me the initial call itself was not a good experience.
P.S- Service based startups are paying better comps and have a better culture.
