      Entretien

Very pretentious and inflexible. Started out with a DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) question and how it applies to and benefits a work environment, but ended with "you don't fit in because you don't fall into our specific (rubber stamp) mold." Being told that by all middle aged North American white folk on the five person panel - found that funny to begin with. When asked what I know about the company, told them all the latest business developments for the past year. Seeing they can't fail me there, started asking me "technical" questions, because the job is "too technical" for me (someone who's worked with technology all my life). When prodded what they mean by technical and asked to describe - turns out, they meant more regulatory, as in: in what situation do you use a B or C connector. The lead, director, and one other panelist were constantly interrupting the answers, by latching onto the first phrase or word uttered, to try to shut me doing and prove their projecting point, not allowing me to get my comparative point across. Confused being "direct" with being "rude" and told me half-dozen times that I am not suited for this job, despite my superbly answering all their situational questions that had zero technical in it. Last but not least: All that was on my resume, so why invite me to the interview and be utterly condescending and rude, if not to simply mark your DEI calendar and say that you "interviewed 'other'" candidates, aside from the one you most likely already have in mind. Aha.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

      1. How do you see DEI impact your work environment? 2. How do you handle urgent deadlines? 3. How do you handle a difficult client? 4. How do you manage different stakeholders? 5. How do. you use data to impact your decisions? 6. Why are rules important? All STAR type questions and nothing out of the ordinary, if you've ever had that type of interview.
