The recruiter called late in the afternoon to check availability the following day. The interview was conducted over the phone and lasted for around 20-30 mins. While he said that they were interviewing some other people, he promised to get back to me the following week. I did not hear back from him even after sending an email to check on the status weeks after. I find it rude to get an applicant to go through an initial interview process and just leave them hanging without any type of feedback. The least a recruiter can do is to respond that they were looking at other people for the role.
