Process began with submitting a straightforward coding task, which led to a 2 hour video interview with two senior developers. Both interviews were super friendly and immediately made me feel very comfortable. After a few ice breaker questions they asked some general HR style questions, fairly common stuff.
Had a javascript coding task which I would say was medium difficulty. They left the call for 15 minutes to work though it which was very much appreciated. After that time we discussed the solution and my approach. Although I didn't actually get that much code down, we had a good discussion about what I had written, and what else I had planned to do.
Continued with some developer specific workplace scenario questions, and some domain specific technical quickfire questions, of which I probably got about 75% correct.
Finished with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the company.
As interviews go it was a good experience, the guys running it were great and kept it casual which was nice. Whole process took under 2 weeks.
After receiving my offer I declined, primarily because I decided remote work was not the right choice for me, although the company seemed great. I live too far away for office visits once or twice a month, but they seemed somewhat flexible on that too which was appreciated.
