J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez NextRoll (Dublin, Dublin) en mai 2017

      Entretien

Working in Talent Acquisition, I'm pretty picky about interview process, and AdRoll won me over with theirs. Communication was always excellent, great preparation material was provided, follow ups were very prompt, interesting and challenging questions were asked by all interviewers. I met people who were passionate about their roles and their teams (but were also honest about challenges they face) and got a preview of a company culture I really wanted to be a part of.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez NextRoll (Dublin, Dublin)

      Entretien

I applied online and the first step was a very pleasant, informative phone interview. I got an email 2 days later to invite me to an onsite interview - 3 x 45 minute interviews with 3 different people. I was offered to schedule a call the day before the onsite interview to go through the competencies I could expect and this was very helpful. Parts of the onsite interviews felt a little impersonal as the interviewers read through a list of questions and then took notes in silence. The questions were standard enough around how to prioritise tasks, how to build relationships etc. After onsite interview I was told I would hear back at the end of the week. I got an email at the end of the week to ask for a suitable time to schedule a call the following week. I felt that the time between onsite interview and when I was told of their decision was dragged out. I have never scheduled a call for a rejection either and I felt this gave a little bit of false hope. I was told I didn't get an offer because they hired someone else with more specific experience and because there wouldn't be enough time/resources to train me in properly. This was quite shocking as the point of hiring someone new is training them in? I was also told that the feedback from managers was very positive and that if another position arises they would love reach out to me then. I then saw the same job posted on LinkedIn the next day. This was really disappointing as obviously the feedback wasn't true and I really would have appreciated constructive feedback that I could work on. I found this dishonest and very disappointing after 2 calls and 2.5 hours onsite.
