J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Nextdoor (San Francisco, CA) en nov. 2021

Started with recruiter screen, then peer interview, Manager Interview, Director Interview. At the end they requested "Client References" which required me to reach out to former clients. After reaching out to my references, I was completely ghosted, with no answer for 7 weeks. I got this treatment despite my wife working at the company and referring me. She had another referral get the same treatment.
Interview with recruiter => hiring manager => panel of teammates. I was interviewing for a client partner role and confirmed with the recruiter, hiring manager and team that the role could be remote. After my final round interview in which I received very strong feedback, I was told by the recruiter that sales leadership needed this position to be in an office. I thought it was extremely unprofessional and a waste of time to tell this to a candidate after the fact and after the candidate had asked throughout each step of the process to confirm that the role was remote.

The interview process has been slow but the recruiter over communicates when feedback is available. The process also doesn’t seem very hard. There are no presentations or mock calls, just 3 rounds of calls with different managers, directors and team members.
