J'ai passé un entretien chez Northern Territory Government (Darwin)
Entretien
Straight forward process, pretty classic Government pace. They call your references before your interview which caught me off guard, I think it's just an NTG "that's the way it's always been done."

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Northern Territory Government (Darwin) en avr. 2022

The process is fairly straightforward but can be time-consuming. It typically involves the panel chair forming a selection panel, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making offers. Since the panel chair must coordinate around the panel members' existing schedules, delays are common.
Important Note:
In the Northern Territory Government (NTG), reference checks are often conducted before your interview, and candidates are not usually notified in advance. This practice can catch many people off guard, especially those unfamiliar with NTG recruitment processes. While long-term NTG employees may view this as standard, it’s quite unusual and not common practice in my experience.
