HR people were quick to reply. The process included a Skype interview, in person interview, and psychometric testing. Was given an option for which location I would prefer.

Initially the role is advertised at university open days and online. The application is done online - this is basic information with your university marks. The an automatic psychometric test was sent (basic maths and shapes), then a phone interview (basically a test of how well you can communicate, why you want the job, what your strengths are) and then face-to-face interview.
