J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Nue (Toronto, ON) en mars 2026
Entretien
I applied through a recruiter who reached out to me. The process was very disorganized. Interviews got changed around at the last minute and the actual interviews weren’t what the recruiter told me (e.g., coding interview was actually system design). The recruiter wasn’t respectful of my time. They only told me late in the process about working with staff in Beijing and having to work in the evenings. They gave me an offer but I declined.
I imagine there are no Francophones working here with a name like Nue. I wasn’t going to have that on my CV.

I only had an HR screen bit it felt a bit off.
The interviewer would ask a question, get my answer, then understand something completely different. At points it felt as though they were looking for specific answers or keywords.
The compensation discussed also seemed on the low side.
That being said, they were polite and the interview remained professional.

Interview Process:
Recruiter reached out to me.
Initial conversation with a member of leadership.
Technical discussion with an engineer.
Final rounds included a coding interview and a system design interview.
Overall, the process felt unorganized. There were inconsistencies in communication regarding the interview format. I was informed that the technical rounds would focus on system design, but one of the rounds shifted to a coding exercise without prior notice.
Additionally, there were delays and limited responsiveness from the recruiting side when I followed up with clarifying questions. During one of the technical interviews, there were also technical setup issues that impacted the flow of the discussion. In another interview the interviewer was late by 15 minutes.
The experience felt less structured than expected, and clearer communication and preparation would have improved the overall process.
