First received an email from HR recruiter to schedule a phone screening, recruiter was with Oxy and job was at OxyChem. Next had phone interview with hiring manager and then flew to Dallas for an onsite interview. The onsite interview consisted of a panel, an accounting manager, and the hiring manager. I received an offer in May after interviewing in March. I was also told I'd be reimbursed for interview expenses I paid for, but I am still $50 out of my own money in July and have not received responses from the numerous people I have emailed. So beware if asked to take an uber/taxi that you might not ever get that money back.

Started off as a contracr worker. Worked well and applied to a job opening. Interview was really standard because they had already saw my work performance. I started of as a contract worker, hired through a staffing agency. Many employees on my floor also started of in that same way. Seemed like the normal criteria.

The process was positive. I visited and talked to managers from several teams. Each manager gave a lot of history about the company, gave me a chance to answer questions, etc.

First, phone interview with HR - standard HR questions
Second, In person interview with hiring manager & HR. Hiring manager asked more accounting/finance specific questions.
Third, panel interview with Ops managers, hiring manager, & HR. - Ops managers asked more questions in regards to being a business partner.
