I was invited to an interview by a head hunter. The interview process was terrible. Initially it was a virtual interview but due to the connection issues, it turned to a phone interview. I was grateful that it was a phone interview because I grew fed up with the interviewers' confrontation attitude after I provided my answers to the questions given. The entire process was extremely uncomfortable as the interviewer refused to accept my answers to the questions given such as the skills that I have. "What skills do you have?" "I believe a combination of soft skills and technical skills is crucial in the workplace. On the soft skills side, I pride myself on my effective communication and teamwork abilities. These skills have proven invaluable in fostering collaboration within teams and ensuring smooth project workflows. Additionally, my adaptability and problem-solving skills have allowed me to navigate challenging situations and find innovative solutions..." Before I finished my sentence, he seemed to be irritated and cut off my answers abruptly and said "I want to know what technical skills that you have, NOT your soft skills!" As soon as I heard that reply, I immediately got fed up and gave the answers of my technical skills. I remembered he asked "What company benefits are you looking for?" I replied by allowances and the culture that provides me an opportunity to grow my career. He again abruptly replied that "Sorry, we don't provide such benefits. That is for MNC big companies." He then started to make comparison between this company and MNC such as MNC will retrench employees despite of the benefits and lack of opportunity to grow etc. Basically, he was trying to sell this company in a good image. During the process, I was hoping his lectures end quickly as I realized the attitude given proved that the entire interview was a waste of time between us. In summary, do not trust the invitation of the head hunter and I sincerely do not recommend this company due to the unprofessional attitude. Please read the reviews given on the company and evaluate whether is it acceptable to work in such environment.
