Had 3 great interviews of the course of 3 weeks. Was told to come for a 4th interview in person, but no date was set. I waited a week before reaching out to check in about the interview details. A date was set, then cancelled two days later with the promise of rescheduling. No follow up came, so I reached out after another week and was set up with "meet a team member" interview over zoom the following week. That interview seemed great and really excited me to join the team. Immediately following that 4th zoom interview a final in person interview was promised, BUT a date was still not given. 2 weeks went by. I checked in and got a response that "things were busy" people were "out sick" and that the in person interview would happen. Then I received an email that they decided they would only bring on someone in the new year (6 weeks from that moment). I awaited instructions for 3 weeks and assumed that I had been ghosted. Then, when I had given up all hope, I got an email saying they'd like to schedule that promised 5th interview in person "sometime in the next couple weeks". I've waited over 2 weeks and no follow up instructions have been given. I did follow up via email and nothing. I believe the term for this is "breadcrumbing".
