I wasted so much of my valuable time interviewing here:
• Numerous phone calls back and forth with multiple people
• Hours worth of "homework" including a software quiz, a personality test, and a lengthy presentation
• a 4 hour long interview with 5+ people with no offer of water or a bathroom break. At the end of the day I had to make my presentation in front of a panel (after being nailed with hard questions all day). I thought I did very well, however instead I was told how many times I said the words "um" and "like" by the CEO because he was counting! I felt very offended, belittled and confused.
• They continued to drag the process out even longer, even after calling 5 of my references, the terms of employment changed where it was "work from home 3 days a week" to "never work from home"
--- finally I said "NO THANKS!". I am happy with my decision, I just wish I was never introduced to the company in the first place.
Good luck in the future, OpFocus. I hope this helps you make some changes in your HR department.
