J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Open Society Foundations (Bruxelles) en août 2016
Entretien
I've applied for two positions at OSF - one in the summer 2015 and one in the summer 2016. Both times the way the application process was organised was terrible. The first time I did not get an email confirmation after I submitted my application so I emailed an HR person to check if they've received my application ok. No response. I understand that everyone is busy but isn't it part of the responsibility of an HR person to reply to enquiries like these? I never got a rejection or acknowledgement I ever applied to the position.
The next time I applied I received a confirmation of my application but no information thereafter. No rejection even months later. At this point I am not going to bother ever applying again.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Open Society Foundations (Washington, DC) en avr. 2015
Entretien
I was recommended internally and interviewed informally for the position before I applied. The hiring staff was friendly and emphasized the administrative side of the work. They did say it was a great organization to work for in terms of access. I felt that the office space was friendly and inviting and seemed like a great place to work. Most staff stay on for many years.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Open Society Foundations
Entretien
I was contacted via phone and invited to interview the following week. The first interview consisted of two rounds. I interviewed with someone from HR afterwards with two heads from the specific program. Everyone was very friendly and I came away with a good feeling. A little while later I was contacted for a second interview. Before going to the interview I was asked to complete a short test which consisted of some translation work and administrative planning. The second round was considerably shorter and I met with a program assistant and the head of another related program. The entire process took about a month.
