I passed a phone interview, a technical zoom interview, an in-person technical interview, another in-person technical interview with the group leader and an in-person HR interview. After finishing all of that, I was told the position has been moved abroad but I could interview for a different group. I met with the team leader and the group leader. The team leader never took his eyes off his laptop, basically checking his emails the entire time. The group leader fired random questions at me and was very standoffish. She asked me to come up with an sql query for a given requirement even though my CV clearly stated no sql experience. The company basically wasted my time for it’s own office politics and clearly the new team I was interviewing for had no interest in me, but felt obligated to interview me since I was almost hired by the company. Complete waste of time, company is very unstable in it’s decisions on opening and closing positions.

The meeting was held on Zoom - the interviewer was the head of the team I wanted to reach, he wasn't interested in personal things at all, he just asked a technical question from leet code
