I applied through LinkedIn, immediately got asked to set up a Zoom interview. The interviewer was clearly uninterested in me. She didn’t take any notes and was very matter of fact. She made the interview very awkward to the point where I was uncomfortable. When I ask questions, I usually say, “And my final question…” to signal that I am finished asking question but she just sat there staring at me on video. It was very uncomfortable to the point where I asked if I was expected to wrap things up. Not my idea of how an interviewer should conduct an interview at all. In looking at the leadership of the company, it seems their idea of diversity is 11 white males and 2 white women. I am not surprised that I was then ghosted after being told that she would pass my resume along to the CFO.
