The process consisted of three rounds: an initial screening, a technical interview with the hiring manager, and a final architecture/strategy session. The interviewers were professional and technically competent. However, the experience broke down at the final stage.
After the 3rd interview, there was a 20-day period of silence, which was later attributed to internal winter holidays. Despite the time investment and passing all stages, the final rejection was generic with a strict "no feedback" policy.
A more proactive communication style regarding holiday delays and a brief summary of the decision for final-round candidates would significantly improve the brand's candidate experience.
