The recruiter seemed great during the first screening call but communication quickly became difficult and it took a month to finally get an interview scheduled with the hiring manager. The interview wasn't at all how the recruiter told me it would be, but it went well and I was told I'd be speaking to another round of people for the next step. That never happened after waiting for another month, so I followed up and the recruiter said they went in another direction, which is totally fine, but don't leave me hanging and tell me I'm going to do another round of interviews.
