It was a behavioral interview on campus for an internship position. It lasted for an half an hour to an hour I believe. There were two engineers that conducted the interview.

Challenging interview. They were very thorough and asked plenty of tough questions. Not too technical but be prepared to give quality answers in terms of mental aptitude. There will likely be more than one interviewer present.

I submitted my resume through my college career center, and was contacted for an interview shortly after. I interviewed in-person with two engineers and discussed my work experience. They had several pre-planned behavioral questions that pulled heavily from their corporate values. To adequately prepare for an Ovintiv behavioral interview, make sure you prepare detailed examples of how you exhibited each of their core values.
The position was for petroleum engineering students, with an emphasis on data analytics/ coding. I was asked one or two very basic behavioral coding questions (how I solve coding problems), but I was never asked anything explicitly technical.
Overall, the interview process went really well. Their employees are really great to talk to, and the work they were offering sounded interesting and challenging. I got my offer about a week after interviewing.
Ultimately, however, I was looking for a slightly different role. I had to decline their offer, but I have nothing bad to say about the interview process.
